UMKC graduates were sworn into the Missouri Bar during an outdoor ceremony, Friday, October 1st, on the steps of the Capitol Building in Jefferson City. Despite threatening skies, the weather cooperated. UMKC Law faculty and staff members were there to offer congratulations and meet family and friends. UMKC Law was well represented on the dais as well, with Judge Zel Fisher (J.D.’88) on the bench, and motions for admission by Missouri Bar President John Grimm (J.D.’87), and on behalf of Missouri Board of Law Examiners Executive Director Andrea Spillars (J.D.’89).
