Why did you decide to attend law school? And more specifically UMKC?
I was always fascinated by law, and I thought it would be a good fit. Through personal experiences, I've seen what a good lawyer and advocate can do to help people, and I want to be able to do that for others.
What has been the biggest challenge as a law student?
The mindset switch between working full time to becoming a student again! It's been a long time since I've been in a classroom and even longer since I've taken exams.
What are your interests outside of law school?
Musicals and reading
What is one piece of advice you would give to future law students?
Try to get comfortable with the idea that there may not be a "correct" answer! The faster you learn that, the easier it will be to see both sides of an issue.
