Why did you decide to attend law school? And more specifically UMKC?
I have always aspired to a career that challenges me intellectually and fosters lifelong learning. Law school was a natural choice, allowing me to combine my passion for reading and writing with my desire to make a meaningful impact. I chose UMKC because of its strong connection to both the city and the legal community, providing invaluable opportunities for growth and engagement.
What has been the biggest challenge as a law student?
Managing a demanding workload while maintaining balance in other areas of life.
What are your interests outside of school?
Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, trying new places around the city, thrifting, and staying active with some tennis or yoga!
What is one piece of advice you would give to future law students?
Embrace challenges with a growth mindset and trust in your ability to succeed.
