Why did you decide to attend law school? And more specifically UMKC?
I came to law school because I was unhappy in my career and wanted to take on a bigger challenge. UMKC was the right choice for me because I love the Kansas City community and saw that reflected back to me here by faculty, staff, and students.
What has been the biggest challenge as a law student?
Getting comfortable with rejection and reframing what failure means.
What are your interests outside of law school?
Love going for a good run and binge watching a bad reality show.
What is one piece of advice you would give to future law students?
Always go the extra step. Or block. Or mile.
