Why did you decide to attend law school? And more specifically UMKC?
I decided to attend law school because I wanted to help make a positive, tangible impact on my community. I enrolled at UMKC because of its highly collaborative atmosphere and proximity to my support systems.
What has been the biggest challenge as a law student?
My biggest challenge as a law student has been combating perfectionism.
What are your interests outside of law school?
Muay Thai (Thai boxing), high fantasy novels, and movie-going.
What is one piece of advice you would give to future law students?
Collaborate, collaborate, collaborate! Learning how to collaborate in fast-paced and (often) stressful environments is the key to success in law school—and is a great way to get to know your fellow students!
