Amanda joined the UMKC School of Law in May 2023. She received her M.A. in History and her B.S. in Digital Media Production from the University of Central Missouri. During her studies at UCM, Amanda worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for the History Department. She has a background in teaching English overseas and she previously worked at Texas A&M University as a Political Science Academic Advisor at The Bush School of Government & Public Service. Before starting at the School of Law, she worked at the International Student Affairs Office at UMKC. Originally from Ewing, New Jersey, Amanda now lives in Kansas City with her husband, John, and their two chihuahuas. Amanda is excited to join the School of Law as a staff member and looks forward to helping students during their law school studies. Stop by her office to chat and grab coffee and candy!
