Lisa Gooden is the Circulation and Operations Librarian at the UMKC Law Library. Lisa has lived in Kansas City for over 20 years and is a passionate advocate for public education. Prior to joining UMKC in 2023, she served as Senior Collection Development Librarian at the Kansas City Public Library, and as Youth Services Supervisor at the Kansas City, Kansas Public Library. Lisa received her Master’s in Library and Information Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She supervises the Law Library’s service desk team, supports faculty and law students with material requests, and works with the library’s Institutional Repository.
