Bander Almohammadi is a Truman Fellow at the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law. He earned his Doctor of Juridical Science (S.J.D.) with Honors from the University of Kansas School of Law in 2023. He earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law in 2021. He also has an L.L.M. degree from the University of Kansas School of Law, earned in 2017, and a Social Justice Graduate Certificate from the Harvard Extension School, earned in 2023. He is licensed to practice law in New York, Kansas, and Missouri.
Bander has published several articles on international law and serves as a publication chair for Young Lawyer Board with Kansas Bar Association. In addition to his work with Truman Initiative, he is an adjunct professor at UMKC Law teaching Introduction to American Common Law & Culture.
