Technology entrepreneurship crosses the boundaries of the business, nonprofit and public sectors in which innovations are generated. The Midwest Symposium on Technology Entrepreneurship offers a forum to continue the advancement of technology entrepreneurship thinking, teaching and practice, promote an exchange of knowledge and experience, and facilitate a discussion among business and nonprofit practitioners, teachers and researchers, funders, and others interested in sharing and shaping ideas and learning focused on promoting successful technology entrepreneurship.
This highly participative symposium includes the opportunity to attend and take part in a number of workshops developed and delivered by leading faculty in the field of technology entrepreneurship and the commercialization of innovations developed in various disciplines and contexts. The symposium will also allow its participants to tap into the existing experiences and expertise of those experiencing and supporting technology entrepreneurship.
The Symposium begins with Opening Remarks at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, May 18, followed by morning and afternoon workshops, as well as presentations at a luncheon that day, all at the Henry W. Bloch Executive Hall for Entrepreneurship & Innovation. The Tuesday, May 19 schedule includes morning and afternoon workshops, and a luncheon presentation. The Tuesday, May 19 workshops and events will take place at the Kauffman Foundation Conference Center.
