At both the School of Law and the law library, we believe the use of technology is key to creating a comprehensive legal education. We strive to use technology in a variety of ways throughout the school and aim to keep our students, faculty and staff on the cutting edge of available tools and programs.

Printing: Law students receive 50 free pages of printing per week. Additional credit may be purchased through the RooBucks (One Card account). Visit the FAQ page for printer locations and wireless printing directions.

Multimedia Resources: the library provides a variety of audio-visual and multimedia resources for in-school and out-of-school use. Visit the FAQ page for the complete list of available equipment. For question regarding scheduling, operating, troubleshooting or any other audio-visual needs, contact Rachelle Leutzinger.

Lecture Capture: Mediasite is the UMKC Law School lecture capture program that enables faculty, students, and staff to record and live stream lectures, presentations, and events from selected locations. The law school also provides access to a desktop version that allow capturing content from any device. Visit the UMKC Law School videos and Lectures Catalog.

Intranet: RooLaw is the UMKC Law School SharePoint based Intranet (internal website) available only to students, faculty and staff at the law school. The intranet serves as the School of Law’s primary internal calendar and communication tool and also contains a learning management system to support law school courses.
