Upcoming CLE Events

For each reporting year, a Missouri lawyer must complete 15 hours of CLE. Three of these hours must be ethics hours, and "at least one of the three ethics credit hours required under Rule 15.05(a)(1) must be devoted exclusively to explicit or implicit bias, diversity, inclusion, or cultural competency."

CLE Hardship Policy

UMKC CLE is committed to offering affordable continuing education events, products and services. Registrants unable to afford seminar fees may apply in writing no later than 72 hours before the event for a waiver or reduced fee. Hardship discounts and waivers will not be granted on the day of the event.

Applications are reviewed by the CLE director Daniel McCarroll, and decisions are based on financial need and space availability. Send requests to Daniel McCarroll. Questions? Call 816-235-1648.

Information to include with fee waiver or discount application:

• Your name, firm or employer name, mailing address, phone number, email address, bar number and years in practice.
• A brief explanation of your reason for requesting the hardship fee waiver or discount.
• The amount you can contribute toward covering the cost of the program.
