Marvin J. Ferguson (’62)

Marvin J. Ferguson (’62) passed away on May 11, 2019. After law school, He was an attorney with the Law Firm of Jackson, Wade and Barker. In 1971 Marvin became Executive Vice President and General Manager of North Kansas City Development Company managing all of their properties in North Kansas City, Chicago, and Jefferson City. He then joined his wife Sandra Ferguson (“64) at the Law Firm of Ferguson & Ferguson. Marvin is a United States Army Veteran.

James Polsinelli (’67)

James Polsinelli (’67) will retire in January after an esteemed legal career and years of civic and community service in Kansas City. Almost 50 years ago, Jim opened an office above the Plaza Theatre as a 28-year-old lawyer with two other young partners, took out a $10,000 line of credit and started what would later become an Am Law 100 firm stretching coast-to-coast with 21 offices and more than 800 attorneys.

Jim Polsinelli  (’67)

Polsinelli, led by Jim Polsinelli  (’67),was recognized for the Adopt-A-Neighborhood Program at the Legal Aid of Western Missouri’s 20th Annual Justice for All Luncheon.

Prof. G. Michael Fenner (‘69)

Prof. G. Michael Fenner (‘69) was elected as President of the Nebraska State Bar Association. He is the first academic lawyer to hold that position.
