Leo O. Salinger
Visiting Assistant Professor of Law
Leo O. Salinger received a bachelor of arts in history and latino studies, cum laude, from Williams College in 2004 and a J.D., summa cum laude, from UMKC in 2010, where he was the student editor-in-chief and case note editor of The Urban Lawyer and served as a teaching assistant in the legal research and writing program for two years. He received the Charles E. Whittaker Award for Academic Excellence and the Honorable Joseph E. Stevens, Jr. Memorial Prize for legal writing.
He is admitted to practice in Missouri and is a LEED Green Associate, certified under the Green Building Certification Institute Accreditation Program. He practices at Husch Blackwell LLP and concentrates in real estate and development and renewable energy financing, including wind energy projects. He also frequently authors blog posts for Husch Blackwell’s Real Estate & Development Law Update.
Professor Salinger teaches the courses Property I and Property II and serves on the editorial board of The Urban Lawyer.
