Adela Fleming is the director of student services and has been at UMKC since the age of four when she began studying piano at the Conservatory of Music. She earned both her bachelor of music in piano performance and master's degree in curriculum and instruction at UMKC. In 1984, she began her work career at the university focusing on student services and joined the law school in 2006. She has dedicated her life work at UMKC to service of students and was the recipient of the first Chancellor’s Unsung Hero staff award in 2010.

Tina Melville is the coordinator of records and registration at the law school and is responsible for course enrollment, student records, and grading and graduation certification, among other tasks. She is a UMKC alumna, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in music education and then her master's degree in Educational Administration. Tina was a classroom music teacher in the pre-kindergarten through high school levels for 10 years, before moving into higher education. She has lived and taught in many states across the country. She welcomes you to stop by her desk if she can ever be of assistance or just to visit.
